The European School Sports Day in Latvia took place on 27 September in Preiļi City Park.

It was organized by the Latvian School Sports Federation and Preili District Children and Youth Sports School. The centerpiece of the event was the Latvian Pupils’ 73rd Autumn Cross Country Relay race, with 350 participants, while the European School Sports Day event was hosted by participants of the SHE RUNS project from different cities of Latvia (from Preili Sports School – Eva Vjakse / Preilu Secondary School). / and Rasa Saulīte / JEPVĢ /) organizing sports activities for Preili and county school pupils and cross country participants. September 27 is the date of the European School Sports Day in over 20 European countries. Thank you to the organizers for the interesting sporting activities.
